Pro Evolution Soccer 4 on Xbox will indeed come blessed with full online match support, Konami has officially announced, something that was strongly speculated at last week's Games Stars Live show in London.
It seems that the publisher had little option but to confirm Live play after many folk at the London event - including us - spied Live options on the game's menu screen.
According to the press blurb, global real-time matches, rating systems and options for forming mini-leagues will all be offered to Xbox players, marking it the first time that Konami's much adulated footy series will have been brought into an online arena.
Sadly, it appears that PS2 and PC players will have to make do with playing their best mates in the comfort of their own home.
Pro Evolution Soccer 4 releases for PS2 in October and Xbox and PC in November.
