Sega has kindly darkened our day with 15 new screens from Otogi 2, the sequel to the acclaimed Onimusha-alike horror game of last year.
Like its predecessor (entitled Otogi: Myth of Demons), the follow-up is steeped in authentic Japanese mythology and folklore, spewing up a gore-laden tale of undead warriors protecting the planet from an onslaught of demonic forces.
Although the original was reasonably impressive in the visuals department, developer From Software has built an entirely new engine, which is promising "vastly improved graphics" and other such fanciful eye candy.
There will also be a cast of six playable characters, a number of alternate endings, plus an all-new Havoc mode for complete and utter carnage - ideal for releasing all that pent-up anger after a hard day at the office.
Otogi 2 is currently poised for an exclusive Xbox launch early-ish next year
