Earlier in the month EA announced that it was taking its FIFA franchise to the street with, erm, FIFA Street, which translates as 'a hip new urban incarnation of the beautiful game'. In development at EA Sports Canada, the game's all about international soccer stars going back to their roots for some four-on-four or one-or-one action in a variety of worldwide locales. First screenshots have been released today but if you missed it last week, you can also check out this first skill-tastic movie here.
Success on the street will give you enough cred to start building your own team from the myriad superstars on offer, EA is also focusing on the wild tricks and outrageous skills which have characterised other EA 'Street' franchises like NBA and NFL. The game dribbles onto PS2, Xbox and GameCube in 2005.
