THQ has marched out first official word on Full Spectrum Warrior: Ten Hammers, sequel to Pandemic Studios' well-received military tactical strategy game focussing sights on modern-day squad combat. Deploying on PC, Xbox and PS2, the follow-up from Pandemic is building on the original title with a new multiplayer system, player-controlled coalition forces, mechanized units, enhanced character abilities and advanced enemy A.I.
As squad leader, players co-ordinate the actions of multiple infantry fire teams, leading them through a variety of hostile environments and 12 levels of combat hot zones. Squads can be directed real-time via an intuitive command system, players able to utilise authentic battlefield tactics, hardcore firepower and military equipment and player-controlled mechanized units to duff up the opposition.
Full Spectrum Warrior: Ten Hammers new multiplayer system allows trigger-happy combat nuts to head online and experience head-to-head tactical action and plough through objective-based co-op missions.
The game is due at the end of the year and will be parading its wares at E3 this month.
