Prince Of Persia 3 named and framed

Screens, full title and release date for the multiformat adventure

The final part in the final part of the Prince Of Persia trilogy has been christened Kindred Blades and handed an estimated November 2005 release date, it has emerged today.

From a lengthy demo we've seen, not only does it look splendidly gorgeous, it also looks to maintain the horribly dark nature of its immediate predecessor too. But with some of the fairytale gloss of Sands Of Time. Which is nice.

So what can you expect? Well, a new playable character with different moves, enhanced athletics (the moves have to be seen to be believed) and fast-paced "action stealth" gameplay - it all sounds good to us.

In addition to these latest screens, you might like to access the official site here, which also features a short trailer. Prince Of Persia Kindred Blades is set to release across all major formats.
