Sony has released some more information on its upcoming PSP shooter, SOCOM: US Navy SEALs Fireteam Bravo, including level details and multiplayer modes.
The PSP mutation of the popular franchise will take place over fourteen different locations across the world. Players will combat against a multi-national cast of enemies and it will include the possibility to link up remotely to the PS2 title SOCOM 3 (via USB).
Additional details can be found on the game's website, which features an informative developer blog that goes into detail on the problems adapting the franchise for the handheld machine. From lead designer Richard Foge comments, it appears that the team are specifically focusing on condensing SOCOM's trademark action into intense bursts that last only 5 or 10 minutes. However, Foge is keen to clarify there will be 14 single-player missions for solo militants to take control of.
SOCOM: US Navy SEALs Fireteam Bravo is released Stateside on November 8th and will hopefully be with us early next year.
