Bandai and Tetsuya Mitzuguchi (legendary creator of Sega Rally, Rez and Lumines) are preparing to unveil a brand new game continuing the designer's obsession with the synergy of sound and light in videogames at TGS, according to internet reports.
Mitzuguchi, currently known to be working on the Xbox 360 title Ninety-Nine Nights with Korean developer Phantagram, has suggested previously that he and his Q Entertainment studio intends to move away from his critically acclaimed - and supremely playable - audio-visual experiments to concentrate on new game forms, so the news is likely to be welcomed by fans of Space Channel 5, Rez and Lumines.
At the moment, it's unclear whether the title is a sequel to one of the designer's existing franchises or a completely new game. However, with its debut set for the Tokyo Games Show in just a few days time, we're already bustin' moves and throwing shapes in anticipation.
It's like Flashdance in here, seriously.
