Brothers in Arms: Earned in Blood, the sequel to Gearbox Software's WWII fps/squad commander crossover, has just had a PC demo deployed to give you a sample slice of its forthcoming World War II goodies.
The next chapter in the BiA franchise on current gen, Brothers Earned In Blood casts you as Sergeant Joe 'Red' Hartsock, commanding a squad of the 101st Airborne in the battle to liberate Normandy, after the epic conclusion of Hill 30, in the first game.
The demo weighs in at weighty 650 Mb, but it parachutes you into a single extended mission 'Rendezvous with Destiny' where you'll join your squad in the chaos surrounding D-Day and you'll also be able to get a handle on vital command training in a special scenario entitled, 'Action at Vierville'. There's also bonus material in the form of biographies, historical docs and pics from the D-Day campaign.
It's all ideal preparation for the launch of Brothers in Arms: Earned in Blood. The game will be hitting shops on October 6th and if you missed yesterday's news on how Brothers in Arms will be storming onto PS3, click here for the full intelligence briefing.
