Fact: cowboys are cool. Everybody wants to be a gravel-voiced cowboy in a stetson (or a pirate, if you're us, but we digress) so the steadily increasing deluge of Western-themed games can only be considered a good thing - unless you have an innate fear of horses, tumbleweeds or chaps stemming from a traumatising childhood incident involving enforced dance classes and a "reinterpretation in movement of the conflict between the native americans and the white settlers", which we don't want to talk about.
Anyway, Neversoft's upcoming Gun is the latest in a lengthening line of pistol-packing, sharp-shooting Western actioners, following some way behind Rockstar's Red Dead Revolver and a couple of other less-than-stellar entries in the sub-genre. From what we've seen, Gun's going to shoot from the hip when it hits stores later this year and we've got some brand new Xbox 360 shots, showing off the game's slightly spruced up next-gen visuals, right here on this page. Click, click!
Gun is due to ride into town later this year and we'll have more closer to release. Yeehaw etc.
