New patch strikes F.E.A.R.

Fresh multiplayer maps and new modes land in the latest PC patch for the scary FPS

There's a new patch in internet-town this morning, and it's got lots of freshly-conjured maps and gameplay modes for Monolith's stellar gun-porn shooter, F.E.A.R.

Weighing in at a reasonable 148MB (if you're up to date), the new 1.05 patch adds the Control and Control All modes to F.E.A.R.'s already-bustling multiplayer roster. Control has two teams battling to hold three control points (a bit like Unreal Tournament's Domination mode then), while Control All is a variant that has two teams fighting over five control points.

Meanwhile, the new multiplayer maps are called Cafeteria and Heliport and presumably are aptly named for their respective environments. You can get the patch and try them yourself by visiting the official website.
