EGM's massive rumour roundup!

Gaming revelations aplenty inside including MMO Burnout, PSP redesign and Wii Star Wars!

Usually we throw magazine rumours aside like a filthy, wet towel, but when they come from the respected US publication, Electronic Gaming Monthly, it's a little more difficult to ignore them.

In the latest edition of their weekly rumour column, the US games mag provides a treasure trove of gaming gossip. Included in their speculation is (take a deep breath...) a PS3 version of Ninja Gaiden Black, a massively multiplayer version of Burnout, a re-designed PSP (again), Kingdom Hearts PSP, a lightsaber-waving Wii Star Wars game, next-gen Star Wars: Battlefront sans Pandemic and an Xbox 360 version of PC MMO, Auto Assault. Phew!

Most of the mag's speculation sounds pretty straightforward, but Sony's supposed PSP re-design seems to be the rumour that just won't die. If it was really in the works, we would've expected to have seen the remixed handheld at last month's E3 show. But with rumours persisting and Nintendo's DS continuing to edge ahead of the slick handheld, perhaps we'll see the new PSP surface sometime in the coming months.

Are any of these tasy rumours true? We simply don't know, but they make for some interesting points to chew over.
