Sam be good, Sam be bad is the theme of Sam Fisher's latest adventure Double Agent, and as the iconic stealther moves to a world of criminal intrigue in this latest offering on pretty much every format you can think of, Ubisoft's community manager Rhoulette has confirmed there'll be a chance to try before you buy in a post on the game's official forums.
As Rhoulette says: "Good News: We WILL be having demos for you. The dev team has confirmed that we will be doing an Xbox360 multiplayer demo, and single-player AND multiplayer demos for PC. I do not have official dates for you yet so I'll have to get back to you on that, but we can all probably estimate that these demos won't be showing up sooner than a month before launch because no one ever releases demos earlier than that."
Although no specific date is given, it seems that the demo will allow you to sample some demo action sometime in September ahead of the game's release on PC, Xbox 360, Xbox, PS2 and Cube at the end of October (Stateside anyway). 360 multiplayer and PC single- and multiplayer demo versions are planned and it seems no end of good news for Fisher fans. We'll bring you more on the demos once we've had a chance to quiz the Ubis on further details.
