Very, very famous - maybe even more famous than us - golfer Tiger Woods will be displaying his masterful golfing technique in London next week to celebrate the launch of EA's Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07.
The EA Sports-organised event kicks of on 10am on Monday, September 25 at a yet-to-be announced location, where Mr Woods will be on hand to take on well-known personalities (including Vernon Kay, Ian Wright and Jodie Kidd), competition winners and one lucky event attendee in a test of videogame and real-life golf skills.
In the videogame section of the showdown, players will settle down into PGA Tour 07 and tee off in three, par 3 holes from famous world golf courses. Once that's complete, it's then time to challenge Tiger Woods to a bit of putting on the green. EA may even throw in tea and cakes at the club house.
The overall winner of the videogame and real-life golf challenges will earn the right to be immortalised in a future version of the Tiger Woods PGA Tour game. Presumably Tiger Woods himself isn't allowed to win.
The event, which is being covered by Channel 4's T4, will additionally feature Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07 game pods and skill zone challenges present presenting the opportunity for everyone to get involved, it says here.
Further information can be found on the official website for PGA Tour 07. The event location and final details will be revealed at 6am on September 25 via media outlets and on the official site.
