Championship Manager has added a new string to its realism bow, with latest edition 2007 to feature match analysis tool ProZone thanks to Eidos signing exclusive rights to its use.
ProZone has been developed in collaboration with top football coaches, and uses unique technology to retrieve positional and statistical data on every movement of every player - goals scored, runs made, shots/passes/tackles made or failed - every 1/10th of a second.
Obviously, implementation of ProZone into Championship Manager 2007 is big bananas for Eidos and the game's developer Beautiful Game Studios.
David Rutter, studio manager at Beautiful Game, has enthused, "ProZone offers total support when visually explaining the strategy and tactics employed by managers and coaches. There is no better tool in football today, for managers to gather a wealth of tactical information on their own team as well as for scouting opposition strengths and weaknesses. What better alliance could there be for Championship Manager?"
Championship Manager 2007 is out on PC on October 13. Keep eyes out for an in-depth interview with Beautiful Game Studios on the management sim hitting next week.
