FIFA on PSP truly is the Paul Dickov of football games. It's small, well formed and an utter nuisance at times. While this year's edition plays a competent game of football, it still feels clunky and rather robotic. Shooting can also be a tricky affair thanks to the size of PSP's screen and the inaccuracy of the analogue nub.
To its credit, though, FIFA does include all the options from the PS2 version, including a full Season mode. And, as always, the presentation is fantastic, from the rendering of the shiny Emirates stadium to the authentic strips of the Mexican league. But while FIFA may be a decent alternative to Pro Evo, it's still more Bolton than Barcelona.
