Anyone after visual proof of the impact DirectX 10 is making to Crytek's Crysis will want to clap eyes on new gameplay trailers that have been released.
Both of the two trailers, viewable right on this very page, begin with footage running in DirectX 9, and then show a same-ish scene in DirectX 10. It doesn't exactly look duff in DX9 but fair enough, in DX10 it's visually very, very impressive. If you've got the rig to make the most of the technology, lucky you.
Crytek's previously reassured that it's ensuring Crysis is playable on older PC configurations, but it's a kick in the teeth when you can't play a PC title at a max visual level like that shown in these trailers.
