Could it be that this spin-off of one of the bloodiest franchises in gaming has gone tame on us? We mean, look at these screens? Where's the exploded zombie brains? Nowhere.
Now, Umbrella Chronicles looks cool (check out this hands-on preview), but one of the most fun things about shooting and punching zombies is that their body parts explode into a bloody pulp. That doesn't seem to happen in Umbrealla Chronicles.
Zombies in House of the Dead explode all over the place, parts of their torso and face ripping off as you blast their way - and they still come at you. And that was on the old Dreamcast so it's not a technical issue.
Sort out the gore, Capcom.
