It looks like a sequel to last year's so-so Sega racer Sonic Riders is heading to PS2 and Wii.
According to PlayStation mag PLAY, the board-racer follow-up, called Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity, is set to star bird bloke Jet the Hawk and a cast of Sonic's mates, as the blue hedgehog and co tussle for a mysterious artefact across courses like 'Botanical Kingdom' and Crimson Crater'. A normal day in Sonic land then.
Apparently the original game's trick system - which was one of its better features - is set to return, whilst the turbulence mischief has been given the chop. Here's hoping they dedicate some attention to the awful handling as well.
As you can imagine, with PLAY being a PlayStation mag and all, there's currently no details on how the Wii version will play.
Sega's UK arm was unavailable for comment at the time of writing.
