It's good to be playing Motorstorm again, which we still consider to be one of the best PS3 games you can lay your hands on at the moment. The new downloadable Motorstorm pack is due to hit the PlayStation Network at some point today but we've already given it a workout and grabbed a few movies for you to ogle.
After download the Coyote Revenge Pack you'll see 'Wreckreation' appear in the menu. Hitting this gives you Revenge Weekend and Time Attack modes but Revenge Weekend is what you're really paying £3.99 for.
This is played through in the same fashion as the single-player game. There are three 'tickets' to work your way through and each one has three races to take part in. You've got to come in the top three to unlock the next race and by doing this in all three races you unlock the next ticket (or event, if you like). So far so standard.
But Revenge Weekend has a little trick up its sleeve in the form of a new track. Well it's not really new, rather a reversal of Coyote Revenge with a few tweaks. You can see it in the first video below.
The nine Revenge Weekend events are also made up of other tracks already in the game. You don't play nine races on the same track, as that wouldn't be much fun, would it?
There are also a few new vehicles thrown in for good measure. Ones we know are new are the state prison bus and a Back to the Future style DeLorean.
Just like the rest of the heavy weights, the fun bus is pretty slow but it does have the advantage of being able to ram anything off the road. The DeLorean rally car is quick of the mark.
Check out direct-feed footage below of the new track, truck and rally car now. You've only got a few hours to decide whether or not to pay out £3.99 for it. The Coyote Revenge Pack should be on PSN around 4-5pm (GMT). We'll see you there!
