Delay hits Tabula Rasa

Richard Garriott's sci-fi MMO needs a little more polish time

"We feel confident that this extra time will make a difference on launch day", Tabula Rasa producer Starr Long has said in a statement revealing the MMO is to suffer a small delay.

Originally due to release on October 19, Richard Garriott's new venture in the MMO space will now launch worldwide on November 2.

Tabula Rasa pre-orderers will still get to start playing three days early, but this now kicks off on October 30.

"This short but critical amount of time will give us time to address several issues including stability and balance as well as allowing our players to test the continent of Ligo (L38+) and our major changes to crafting for a few weeks rather than a few days", Long said.

"Our entire development staff feels this extra time is needed as does our beta community. We feel confident that this extra time will make a difference on launch day."
