Capcom has finally revealed the ever-elusive Lost Planet Colonies, and like we said, it's a spruced-up special edition (a very spruced up special edition though).
Famitsu has revealed the first details on Colonies, which features a new playable character (a girl in winter gear) and a wicked sounding online mode which has bugs and humans fighting it out.
Probably the most significant feature though, is the introduction of cross-platform play between PC and Xbox 360, which probably means you'll have to wrestle Games for Windows Live to get online.
We contacted Capcom UK which confirmed the details are legit (for the Japanese version at least), noting that features for the European version are to be confirmed.
It's out in Japan this May.
Is Lost Planet worth a double dip? We suppose, looking at the sales figures, you can't blame Capcom for trying.
