Here we have ten new screenshots for Atlus' upcoming Nintendo DS RPG, Rondo of Swords.
As we reported in January, Rondo of Swords follows a cliché, stereotypical RPG plot that we thought died out when Final Fantasy went Steampunk.
However, Atlus promises some truly interesting gameplay will be hidden beneath the plot. A deep party management system allows players to send party members off on errands or do quests on their own (how that'll be fun for the player we're not yet sure), whilst multiple storylines and endings are based on your decisions throughout the game.
None of this is really confirmed by the new screenshots, but it does look like a bold and nicely stylised game that JRPG fans will embrace.
