Ex-morning telly presenter and Celebrity Fit Club cheat Anne Diamond has got a new gig - reviewing games for the Daily Mail in light of yesterday's Byron Report. And she's awesome at it!
"I stopped playing when I was set on fire and something splattered blood all over my visor," says Anne after having a go at Clive Barker's Jericho. We wish we could think up lines like that sometimes Anne. "Just reviewing these games, made my hair stand on end," she told the paper.
Another classic quote comes in her 'review' of the mighty Resident Evil 4: "When I played I was stabbed to death with pitchforks amid fountains of my own blood." If you don't mind Anne, we'll use that in our Resi 5 review. Full credit to you of course.
She then adds, "This kind of violence can only be bad for you." What kind of violence is good for you then, Anne? We do wonder, though, if she really knows Resi 4 as well as she makes out. "There has been a cataclysmic chemical attack and Earth is roamed by zombies," she says of the plot. That wasn't in the game we played...?
