Sega has denied internet reports that leaked video of The Crucible: The Evil Within is the unnamed project developer Silicon Knights is working on for publisher.
The video appeared online as part of the massive leak from Intellisponse, which spilled out details about upcoming Xbox projects and Activision games.
It was presumed that The Crucible was the project the Eternal Darkness developer has been working on for Sega since 2006, but Sega rep Steve Groll informed MTV this isn't the case.
"That video is not the game that Silicon Knights is creating for us," he said. "I have no idea if it is a game they are working on for someone else, but it's definitely not the project that Silicon Knights and SEGA are producing.
"I can't reveal any info about the game we currently have in development, but I can tell you that it is not titled 'The Crucible.' More news about our game coming soon."
We're guessing 'soon' means E3.
UPDATE: Kotaku are reporting that the video is in fact from the new RPG being developed by ex-Bethesda dev, Ken Rolston.
