Cyanide Studios has released ten new screenshots and a trailer from Blood Bowl, its new fantasy football game based on the Games Workshop tabletop game populated by orcs, goblins and elves.
The original board game is a mixture of American Football and Rugby, with a dashing of Rollerball on the side for good measure.
While the game is still based around scoring, strategy largely involves beating the stuffing out of opponents. We can't see why the videogame would be any different.
Cyanide actually created a similar title, Chaos League, in 2004. Games Worshop promptly sued them and then hired them to make a game based on the licence.
The game should be out by the end of the year on PC, DS, PSP and over Xbox Live Arcade.
