LGC: Fallout 3 dated Oct. 31

Three days after North America

Bethesda Softworks has dated its next epic role-playing game, Fallout 3 for release on October 31 in Europe and in North America on October 28.

The stat-crunching role-player has been raking in the pre-release awards this year, blagging Best of Show from the official Game Critics Awards at E3. And even if you're not as excited as they are, you know you'll end up pouring 60 hours into upon release - just like Oblivion.

"We are very excited to let gamers get their hands on Fallout 3, the latest chapter in this beloved and highly acclaimed franchise," said Bethesda boss Vlatko Andonov, "To meet the huge demand for this title by our fans worldwide, we are planning one of the biggest launches of any game released this year."

The publisher also chucked out some fresh screenshots at Leipzig, which we posted yesterday.

It's out on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC on day one. Read the lengthy hands-on right here.
