Justin Cook, lead designer of Trouble in Paradise at Rare, has hinted at plans that the Viva Piņata series is going to be taking a break once the upcoming DS and 360 games are released.
"We don't have any plans for DLC," Cook told a Rare fansite. "As far as the team is concerned we are taking a break from VP for a while to make something new."
Surprising news considering Microsoft is still pursuing the holy grail that is a casual yet very mainstream audience. He covered his ass though, adding, "But things change quickly in the software industry so next week it may be a completely different story." Well done.
