StarCraft 2 becomes a trilogy

BlizzCon announcement goes down like a cup of cold sick

According to our friends over on Edge-Online, Blizzard surprised everyone at BlizzCon by announcing that its highly anticipated RTS will actually be split into three games. Judging by the early reaction from the fans, this isn't the best news in the world.

"Each release will focus on one of the game's races and will offer up to 30 missions. The single-player trilogy will be released as Terran: Wings of Liberty; Zerg: Heart of the Swarm, and Protoss: Legacy of the Void. No release dates have been announced," explains Edge.

Forums are alight with Blizzard's hardcore following offering their thoughts on the news. We hope it doesn't turn into another Blizzard Vs The Fans like the Diablo-is-too-colourful scandal. Tell us what you think below.
