US Presidential candidate Barack Obama is using in-game advertising to push his campaign for the White House.
"Obama for President" billboards have begun appearing in EA and Criterion's Burnout Paradise, as you can see pictured on this page.
It's been confirmed that Obama's campaign team stumped up the cash for the adverts, in order to target Xbox 360 and PS3 voters (both of 'em).
"I can confirm that the Obama campaign has paid for in-game advertising in Burnout," EA marketing gal, Holly Rockwood told Gigaom. "Like most television, radio and print outlets, we accept advertising from credible political candidates.
"Like political spots on the television networks, these ads do not reflect the political policies of EA or the opinions of its development teams," she added.
No one mention that EA CEO Riccitiello donated $5000 to the Obama campaign...
