Universal has secured the rights to produce a film based on a previously unannounced EA game titled Dante's Inferno.
Nothing is known of the title, except for it being an adventure that takes you on a "journey through the depths of hell", according to reports.
EA will work closely with Universal on the film, with EA Entertainment's Patrick J. O'Brien and game creator Jonathan Knight helping Strike Entertainment partners Eric Newman and Marc Abraham on proceedings.
Universal was also recently confirmed at the studio to work on a planned Army of Two film, being handled by Bourne Ultimatum co-writer Scott Z. Burns.
We're awaiting word back from EA UK.
