Warner Bros. has released the first trailer for developer GRIN's upcoming action shooter Wanted: Weapons of Fate.
Announced earlier this year, the game will act as a sequel to this summer's Angelina Jolie starring flick Wanted.
It's been in development since 2007 at GRIN, the studio behind the PC versions of the two Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter games and the in development Bionic Commando.
"With the Wanted video game, GRIN is creating entirely new gameplay mechanics and an experience that pulls no punches," the game's executive producer, Pete Wanat, said.
"Gamers and fans of the film alike will be blown away by the ability to curve bullets, pull off amazing combat sequences and literally conduct a symphony orchestra of action with the arsenal available to the most powerful assassins in the world," he also promised.
The game's due out on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC in 2009, and it all looks a bit Matrixy to us at the moment. Let us know what you think.
