As potential buyers ponder over the remnants of dieing developer Free Radical, a bunch of concept images of its would-be sequel, TimeSplitters 4 have appeared on the internet.
The pics appeared on the blog of ex-Free Radical artist Nick Carver, who is looking for a job.
"As you may be aware, the studio I worked for (Free Radical) has just effectively gone bust," posted Carver. "I had a great time working there and met some fantastic people along the way.
"Anyway, this is just to say that I'm currently looking for work. I've attached a bunch of images covering some of the things I've been up to recently. My skills include low and high poly modelling, texturing, digital sculpting and concepting."
The images include plenty of cyberpunk-esque Wild West characters, as well as chaps (and monkeys) in medieval armour. No game parodies though, from we can see.
Free Radical went into administration after its Battlefront development deal with LucasArts fell through, and the studio was left scrambling to find a publisher for TimeSplitters. Over a hundred staff are said to have left, both to join other studios and FR boss Dave Doak's new company.
Good luck to any FR staff looking for jobs this Christmas.
