I Am Alive 'slips' to 2010

Ubisoft holds back its disaster game for "more work"

Ubisoft disaster game I Am Alive has been "delayed" to the company's fiscal year 2009-2010, which runs from this April to March next year.

Earlier this week a company release schedule listed the game, which still has bugger all to do with Jade Raymond, for release in Q1 2009.

We thought that sounded too soon as we've seen nothing of it at all. But that's now looking like an error, as Ubisoft boss Yves Guillemot details the 'slip'.

"I Am Alive will require further development time and will now bolster the line-up for 2009-10," he said during a Thursday earnings call. And least it's not being rushed to the market then.

Ubisoft also confirmed a new Assassin's Creed, Ghost Recon (as we exclusively reported here) and Red Steel for fiscal 2009-2010.
