Sony will release SOCOM: Confrontation in PAL regions next month.
The online-focused strategy shooter was originally due to release over here last year, when it launched in the States, but was pushed back to early 2009 due to Sony's "extremely tight production schedule" in the run up to Xmas.
According to a European SOCOM producer going by the name of Shijima on the PlayStation forums, Friday March 13 is the day to put in your diary if you're UK-based.
"SOCOM: Confrontation has been approved for release in Europe, the Middle East, Australia and New Zealand," he said.
"The *officially confirmed* release dates are 13th March (UK), 18th March (EU) and 19th March (PSN)."
From what he says it looks like you're going to have to wait a week longer if you want the downloadable version of the game rather than the packaged title, which will come bundled with a headset.
