MTV and Harmonix have dated their 360, PS3 and Wii Beatles game, seemingly called The Beatles: Rock Band.
The Beatles game will be released on September 9 of this year, according to the big numbers slapped on the front of its newly-launched website. That's 09/09/09, if you haven't noticed.
The game's been creatively conceived with input from Sir Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, as well as Yoko Ono Lennon and Olivia Harrison (the widow of George Harrison), while Giles Martin, the co-producer of The Beatles Love project, will serve as music producer on the game.
Nothing's been seen or heard of the title as yet, but given that it's seemingly been served with Rock Band branding, we're not expecting game mechanics radically different from Harmonix's traditional music series.
