After months of silence, new shots of 2K's sci-fi shooter Borderlands have surfaced, showing off co-op gameplay and some giant beast that needs shooting in the face.
The game seems to have dropped off the radar recently, with very little having been said about it since the Leipzig Games Games Convention in September last year. We're awaiting a response from 2K on why that's the case.
Borderlands promises to "combine the best in first-person action with player customization and vehicular combat". It'll pack online co-op gameplay and an interesting random weapon-generating system that will create "hundreds of thousands of weapons, each with their unique manufacturers, specifications and advantages".
The PS3, 360 and PC shooter is currently down for a vague 2009 release. Check out the E3 trailer above. New shots below.
