Fallout DLC headed for disc

Downloadable content pack hitting retail next month - UPDATED

Fallout 3's two downloadable content packs are to be released on disc at retail, for both Xbox 360 and PC.

UPDATE: Speaking to CVG, a source close to Bethesda has confirmed the news.

That's according to a report by Electronic Theatre, which claims that 'Fallout 3 Downloadable Content: The Pitt and Operation Anchorage' will be hitting shops worldwide on May 29 - that's just over a month's time.

Expectedly a storage unit is said to be essential to play the Xbox 360 version of the pack (as you'll have to install the DLC rather than run it off the disc) and the original Fallout 3 disc will have to remain in the disc drive to play.

£14.99 is the suggested price. We've contacted Bethesda for comment.
