Namco Bandai has revealed Soul Calibur: Broken Destiny for PSP - the first portable venture for the series based on Soul Calibur IV.
All of the gameplay elements of the console game will make the transition to the small screen, although Namco says it has worked hard to create a mode aimed at teaching new players the ins and outs of Soul Calibur's fighting system. The usual arcade, versus, and survival modes will also feature.
Director Hiyama Noriyuki also revealed that it would feature most of the characters from SCIV, as well as several new ones, including one called Dampierre, although further details were not given.
Ad-Hoc multiplayer is in, Noriyuki told GameSpot, although Wi-Fi play via the internet is yet to be confirmed.
The game's due out in the summer.
