Calzaghe - who also appears in the TV ads for the game alongside his son - will be (pretending he knows how to play the game) at the store from 11.30am, hanging around later to sign copies of the new game, which is released on May 22.

You can collect a free wristband to compete at HMV's 150 Oxford Street store only, from 10.30am on the day of the event, supplied on a first come first serve basis, so get down there early if you're keen.

"Punch-Out!! is great fun and it felt like I was back in the boxing ring," said Calzaghe. "The controls feel really natural, and throwing punches with the Wii remote really connected with the different fighters in the game. I was an undefeated former world boxing champion before I met my son on Punch-Out!! He's the new undefeated Punch-Out!! champion now in our family."

Rock down there and wreck him with your proper gaming skills.
