New details for Max Payne 3 in the latest issue of Game Informer reveal an older, bald Max in images, along with a load of juicy gameplay details.
Max has gone the way of Solid Snake and Sam Fisher - he's old, has grown a beard and developed an addiction to painkillers, according to the mag. This will apparently affect gameplay, although it's not specific.
The game (or part of it at least) is set in Sao Paolo, Brazil, and you can expect gun fights in urban areas, which are said to be fully destructible. The game will also don a procedural animation system thanks to Rockstar's Rage engine, and the mag compares its visuals to the stunning Uncharted 2.
Max Payne's defining feature - bullet time - is obviously back, this time said to be more visceral and ultra-violent. A cover system will also be implemented, and the mag confirms the presence of online multiplayer too (via Deeko).
It'll be out later this year for PC, PS3 and 360. Take all of the above with a pinch though, or until we at least see the mag anyway.
