Nintendo's confirmed that the next proper Pokémon games, Heart Gold and SoulSilver, will make their way over to North America and Europe in spring 2010, after releasing in Japan next month.
The GameBoy originals, if you were too young/old/hard to remember, took place in the new region of Johto and boosted the Pokémon count to 251.
The DS remakes of Gold and Silver sport updated graphics and sound, new touch-screen features and "a host of surprises," Nintendo says.
We were at the Osaka Pokémon Centre last week and let us tell you, Japanese 5-year-olds are well excited. More details here.
