Borderlands 'Zombie Island' DLC dated

Xbox and PS3 versions later this month, PC gamers left in the dark

The first downloadable expansion for Borderlands, titled 'The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned', will arrive on PS3 and 360 on November 24, Gearbox has confirmed.

In what it's calling "the first in a series" of add-ons, The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned adds new loot, quests... and zombies.

"Tasked with keeping the workers of Jakobs Cove alive, Dr. Ned (who is not related to Dr. Zed from Fyrestone) does his job a little too well, creating zombies and other abominations that now run rampant in this region," says Gearbox.

"Players will have to work alongside Dr. Ned as they embark on a quest to cure the inhabitants of Jakobs Cove in this full-fledged expansion filled with new enemies, new quests and rare loot drops."

Gearbox says the PC version has "no date right now", but assures fans it's on its way.

The pack'll cost 800 MS Points on 360 (around £6.80) and $9.99 (£6) on PSN.
