Lifetime Sims game sales have exceeded 125 million copies globally, making a tidy $2.5 billion for EA, and according to Sims boss Rod Humble, the franchise is still "gaining momentum a decade after release".

Now available in 60 countries and 22 languages, the franchise spans three core PC games - The Sims, The Sims 2 and The Sims 3 - and dozens of expansion packs.
