Nintendo will publish the western version of Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies.
Hidden in Nintendo's giant PR for its first half of 2010 line-up, is word that Square Enix's Dragon Quest RPG is finally makeing the journey out of Japan and to the west.
"In a unique partnership with Square-Enix, Nintendo of America will publish Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies in the Americas when the game arrives in summer 2010," Nintendo confirmed.
Dragon Quest IX has sold more than 4.15 million copies in the Japanese market and Nintendo and Square-Enix will now work together to bring this title to the Nintendo DS consumer base in the Americas.
Hopefully a European release won't be too far behind.
