Apologetic Ubisoft gives away games

H.A.W.X., Endwar, Heroes Over Euope and Prince of Persia offered

Ubisoft has offered a free game to PC owners of Assassin's Creed 2 by way of apology for recent server woes.

The publisher's notorious DRM requires gamers to maintain constant contact with its servers in order to even be able to play single-player, this was compounded by technical problems on Ubisoft's end which locked people out.

Gamers have now been offered a choice of H.A.W.X., Endwar, Heroes Over Euope and Prince of Persia, with the chosen title downloading directly to PCs without DRM.

If you've had problems with Ubisoft's DRM is this enough of an apology to you? If not, what would it take?
