The first Kane & Lynch game was met with mixed reviews; some decent scores but many not so desirable ones. That is something that the sequel's game director, Karsten Lund, expects will be better next time around.
"I expect reviews [of the sequel] to be a lot better," he told CVG during a recent hands on event with Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days. "I hope it's going to be better, at least. That's what we strive for, right? To really give people that experience they should have had with the first game."
He went on: "I think the first game did a lot of things right. We're trying to enhance those as well. So I do expect higher scores."
Square Enix confirmed that it'll be released on August 24, 2010 in North America and August 27 throughout Europe and other PAL territories.
