Horror movie master John Carpenter advised F.E.A.R 3 developer Day 1 on the storyline of the game, the firm has revealed.
Carpenter - the man behind The Thing, The Fog, Halloween and many more cinematic classics - gave the team guidance on its cut-scenes and storyline.
"John Carpenter just had this vision we wanted to tap into," creative director Frank Rooke told this month's PC Zone.
"It was a close relationship and a learning experience for us both. We came out of it with a really good story, a really good narrative."
As we revealed earlier, F.E.A.R 3 (dubbed F.3.A.R) sees Alma Wade return... pregnant. Lord above.
