Discussions for a Marvel vs Capcom 3 comic mini-series is underway at both companies.
The news comes from Udon Entertainment's project manager Jim Zubkavich, with Udon serving as the license holder for Street Fighter comics since 2003.
"The comic medium is such an influence on both companies, both franchises," Zubkavich said. "You look at the game, the style, it's built off of a comic book aesthetic. It's such a natural fit. It's easy to build off of. The reality is, we are a generation of people who love these fan crossovers, it's almost like fan fiction come to life... now that (the popularity of Street Fighter) has come full circle it's a natural thing."
Zubkavich also points out that such a deal would likely be a mini-series between four to a dozen issues.
