Activision's new friend, Halo developer Bungie, would be a 'good fit' to replace Infinity Ward as the company's big-hitting FPS studio.
That's according to Sterne Agee analyst Arvind Bhatia, who reckons that now that everyone but the tea lady has left the Modern Warfare developer, Bungie would be ideal to take the reins.
"We feel that, if needed, Bungie would be a very good potential fit to replace Infinity Ward on development of the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare franchise in the future," he said.
However, being realistic Bhatia acknowledged that he does see a "low probability'' of this actually happening - and we agree.
Still, it'd be worth it just to see the comments threads on here, eh?
Yesterday Activision announced a 10-year deal to publish the Halo house's 'next big action game' IP.
