Intent Media's MCVUK.com is the online arm of weekly UK trade bible MCV.
Like its paper companion, the site is regularly awash with industry-shaking news, on-the-money comment and exclusive industry interviews - as well as plenty of nose-tapping from trade insiders.
In addition, it offers a number of essential services for UK retailers - such as a fully up-to-date release schedule and highlighted recommended titles to stock up on.
CVG caught up with MCV publisher Stuart Dinsey to ask what the site does best - and where it's headed...
What sets MCVUK.com apart from other sites?
MCV is the only games site that is totally dedicated to the UK trade. We cover international news, but only from a UK perspective. And we cover consumer news from an industry perspective.
We are by the far the preferred daily read amongst retailers and those who work directly within the UK games community. Plus we are increasingly tracked by elite gamers who want to know the inside track on the business or maybe work within it one day.

The UK route to market, day-to-day business. Company news, marketing news, people news, release news, price news. Information for people working within the UK industry every day.
What ambitions do you have for the site - and where do you see it going in future?
A new-gen MCV site is already in the works. This will extend the site past its current news-heavy content and offer a range of essential extra tools for people who work directly within the games business.
But we also expect our global audience and consumer reach to grow, as the appeal of MCV print and online is huge. We are accurate, targeted, incessant and expedient.
